Applications for AIM Levels 4, 5 and 7 for the 2023/24 programme year open on the Early Years Hive platform on 2nd May 2023. Whilst the AIM application process remains open year round, providers and parents are advised, where possible, to apply at least three months before the child’s planned start date in ECCE in order to ensure that the application can be processed in a timely manner.
Applications for AIM targeted supports (Levels 4-7) are completed by the childcare service provider in collaboration with the child’s parent/guardian. Most pre-school providers should be familiar with the AIM application process and be able to guide parents through the application.
Applications for AIM Level 1 higher capitation for the 2023/24 programme year will open on the Early Years Hive platform on August 16th 2023.
AIM Level 1 higher capitation provides for an increase of €2 per child per week in the rate of ECCE capitation payable where a service provider is a fully qualified Inclusion Co-ordinator or employs a fully qualified Inclusion Co-ordinator in their pre-school setting. Eligible providers who employ a qualified Inclusion Coordinator can apply for increased capitation by completing the application form on the Early Years Hive Platform.
